FAQ

Lawn care questions

Do you offer residential lawn mowing in Medicine Hat?

No. We do not offer residential lawn mowing. Our residential lawn programs are value-add and treatment-only — fertilizer, weed control, aeration, power raking, kelp, and seasonal cleanups. Mowing services are only offered to commercial properties through our Property Care division.

When should I aerate and power rake?

Spring power raking pulls winter-killed thatch out before green-up. Aeration is most effective late spring through early fall when the lawn is actively growing. Booking both with a fertilizer round gets the best response.

Do you offer recurring lawn maintenance plans?

Yes — for residential, recurring plans cover fertilizer, weed control, aeration, and seasonal cleanups (no mowing). For commercial properties, we offer full grounds maintenance including mowing routes through our Property Care division.

What's the difference between dethatching and power raking?

Power raking uses a vertical-blade machine to lift dead grass and surface thatch — done in spring. Dethatching usually refers to deeper thatch removal on lawns with significant buildup. We assess the lawn before recommending one or the other.

Do you handle weed control as part of lawn care?

Yes, weed control is a core part of our lawn programs. See our dedicated weed control page for the unlimited broadleaf treatment plan.
